CitiStructure is one of several firms providing general contracting services to Rutgers University at their Newark, New Jersey campus. The campus has more than 27 buildings and is located in downtown Newark near other colleges and universities such as NJIT, Essex Community College and University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ).
Typical projects have included science laboratories; computer and other technology facilities; restroom upgrades; office build-outs; new and renovated classrooms; and athletic facilities. All projects typically involve a combination of the basic trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and sheet rocking. The most recent work involved various renovations at the Robeson Campus Center.
