CitiStructure was retained by Blair Perrone to build-out this magnificent restaurant. The dining experience here is about more than going out to have a steak. The space is sprawling — it takes as long to walk here from Grand Central as it does from one end to the other of the block-long restaurant. With 24 foot floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a panoramic view of Second Avenue, Blair Perrone offers a classic wooden bar and a private tasting room. The lower floor handles all large parties and catered events.
The project was done as a design-build. CitiStructure re-planned the space by removing the main bar on the lower floor and built a new cherry wood bar with a piano finish on the main restaurant floor. The main bar, stocked with more than 30 single malt scotches, was handcrafted by CitiStructure in their own millwork shop and has some extraordinary detail.
The multi-million project also required major HVAC and electrical work throughout the restaurant. As with the main bar, all the woodwork throughout the entire restaurant, including the rich wood paneling, was handcrafted in extraordinary detail by CitiStructure.
