Citistructure is the General Contractor for this new $12 Million, 52,000sf, K-12 charter school that will be operated by Lighthouse Academies. The six story building will include a rooftop play deck area, 26 classrooms, separate tutoring rooms, three state-of-the-art science labs, specialized art and music rooms, a library and a computer lab. The school also includes a commercial kitchen and a multi-purpose room that can be used as a cafeteria, gymnasium or assembly area. A 7,000sf roof section outfitted with architectural pavers serves as the outdoor play area for the students. The project was built on an expedited 10 month construction schedule and is being built using precast concrete plank to speed up construction.
